E1 Health is looking for a customer-facing individual who has strong communication skills and enjoys customer and employee interactions. The Medical Dispatcher will play a key role in the operations of E1 Health. As we grow, we are expanding our dispatch team to assist in managing dispatch duties, part-time. This employee will be required to work mornings/evenings and weekends, in a friendly and supported atmosphere.
Working Hours 8:00am - 4:00pm and 1:00pm - 5:00pm
Duties
- Take incoming calls from hospitals and arrange medical patient transports for our drivers and patient attendants
- Plan the and organize the schedule for the upcoming week
- Oversee patient transfer staff to make their days efficient
- Complete daily reports
- Work with and keep in touch with hospital staff about calls and delays
- Coordinate call times with supervisors
- Various other duties as requested

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications that include, but are not limited to, the following:
- A Grade 12 diploma (minimum)
- 2+ years’ related office experience
- Accurate keyboarding/data-entry skills
- Proficiency with Zoom, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Docs
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Advanced multi-tasking skills, with the ability to meet performance and service goals
- Very good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team and interact tactfully and sensitively with patients from wide-ranging cultural, ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds
