We’re looking for a motivated Network Engineer who has the experience necessary to help build out our existing infrastructure and troubleshoot problems as they arise. The ideal candidate for this position can prioritize mission critical tasks and assist in the construction and expansion of our systems so updates and other maintenance tasks don’t get in the way of daily operations. We’re interested in automating as many of our processes as possible to reduce the potential for human error.
Your impact
As a Network Engineer and being part of a very dynamic Operations & Engineering Team, you make an impact by:
Maintaining systems that our business is using
Migrations to new platforms in the variation of platforms,
Monitoring existing systems to ensure structural integrity
Ensuring constant availability of technical resources and redundant backups to maintain data safety
Involved in designing all security aspects of the infrastructure
Helping and supporting clients for any incidents they encounter
The go-to person on several solutions in the company
Keeping documentation, instructions, procedures and knowledge up-to-date
About you
You have:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field required
6+ years’ experience in network engineering and IT support required
Proven track record of success in installation and maintenance network devices
Experience creating automated scripts and software preferred
General working knowledge of networks, storage, and virtualization
Strong interpersonal skills and can-do attitude
Team player, flexible and stress resistant
Getting things done and customer-oriented and can work independently
Fluent language skills in English, Dutch and/or French
Your Technical Skills:
Proven Trainings / certificates:
CCNA, CCNP , CCIE
Technology:
Palo Alto, Cisco Meraki switching & wireless access points
Strong routing & switching skills
